"I don’t support mandates. I never supported a vaccine mandate. It is intellectually dishonest and just false to try and say that the virus today is the same as the virus we fought in 2020. Coronaviruses mutate at a rapid pace and praise the Lord that was the case with COVID. The virus we dealt with early on wasn’t even the same as the variants originated in China or seen in Italy. Because it mutated. Today, it is generally a cold. That was not the case in 2020. Even so- supporting and promoting personal responsibility is not the same as supporting government mandates. Was the vaccine bad for everyone? No. Was the vaccine necessary for everyone? No. With the current strain of Covid being a minor illness, do I think the vaccine is necessary? Only perhaps in some immunocompromised people. Should you ever be forced to receive a vaccine? No.
Was I one of the largest advocates for Monoclonal antibody treatment and one of the only monoclonal providers in the district? Yep.
Did I argue that there was no reason for the government to remove the option for treatment with monoclonal antibodies? 100%.
Did I save countless lives with providing that access? Yes
Did I advocate for ability to use Ivermectin and did I prescribe it? Absolutely- but they don’t want to talk about that.
The lies we as physicians were told -
1) the vaccine would prevent disease
2) the vaccine would prevent spread …. and lies of omission regarding side effects and risks …. there is always a risk vs benefit analysis for determining what is the best thing for a patient. There in lies the major vaccine issue and why opinions have changed - not just for me but many.” - Dr. de Moor
